A balloon with Pop! Funko flies high in annual Thanksgiving Parade with Grogu from ‘Mandalorian’

Funko is flying high on Thanksgiving Day.

The Everett, Wash.-based popular culture merchandise firm performed a well-liked half in the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York Metropolis on Thursday with a balloon of the character Grogu from the streaming Star Wars sequence “The Mandalorian.”

Grogu — popularly referred to as Child Yoda — was modeled after an actual Funko Pop! figurine that fans can purchase for $15 in addition to several other limited edition products.

It’s the primary time a Star Wars-themed balloon has ever been featured in the long-lasting parade, which was celebrating its ninety fifth yr on Thursday and was aired nationwide on NBC.

The Pop!-inspired balloon sailed down the streets of Manhattan at 41 toes high, 29 toes lengthy and 37 toes broad.
