Back to the future, Barbie! Iconic doll will now take flight on a hoverboard

Barbie is kicking off her excessive heels and taking flight on a futuristic hoverboard that makes her days aboard this thing look means out of fashion. Mattel confirmed off the high-flying doll at the New York Toy Honest over the weekend.

While you hear “hoverboard” nowadays you’re extra seemingly to image a fire than Marty McFly. Barbie’s model does really go away the floor — she’s standing atop a quadcopter drone. As a result of model factors matter, she’s outfitted in pink pants, high and skirt and wears a silver vest with matching silver boots.

The Telegraph reports that the drone can raise a lighter-weight model of Barbie and has been tailored to make it straightforward for teenagers 8 and up to fly. There’s even a pink controller. The toy will reportedly be accessible in the fall and promote for $60.
