‘Hell yes to getting lit on a Monday night!’ Microsoft recruiter’s disastrous attempt to reach hip youths unravels on Twitter

Microsoft’s newest attempt to attraction to younger individuals reeks of extra desperation than your middle-aged aunt making an attempt to pull off a Kendall + Kylie crop high.

Twitter consumer Patrick Burtchaell posted a recruiter e-mail his roommate acquired, by which Microsoft is asking all “bae interns” to cease by its Internpalooza event for “hella noms, plenty of dranks, one of the best beats” and “Yammer beer pong tables.” The kicker (or cherry on high) is the sign-off: “HELL YES TO GETTING LIT ON A MONDAY NIGHT.”

Even Microsoft’s racist millennial chatbot may’ve most likely discovered a more practical means to talk with younger individuals.

My roommate acquired this e-mail from a Microsoft recruiter right now.

Burtchaell’s publish already has 1000’s retweets and likes. The tweet caught the eye of Mitchel Lewis, a Microsoft Service Operations specialist, according to his LinkedIn profile.

That is par for the course with Microsoft HR and nothing in contrast to a few of their different antics.

“The e-mail was poorly worded and never in line with our values as a firm,” a Microsoft spokesperson said in an email to Gizmodo. “We’re wanting into how this occurred and can take applicable steps to deal with it.”
