New video shows update of Apple’s insane new campus taken by drone

An update on Apple’s much-anticipated Campus 2 building course of was unveiled this week, due to YouTuber {and professional} photographer/videographer Duncan Sinfield (no affiliation with Apple), through footage secured by drone no much less.

Filmed on Aug. 1, with a DJI Inspire 1 (drone + digicam setup), you’ll see the continuing building of Campus 2. The drone flies over the behemoth, giving a chicken’s-eye view of the principle spaceship-shaped constructing, parking garages, occasion house and extra.

With narration from Steve Jobs himself edited in, it’s an especially cool take a look at the grounds, about 150 acres, that was quite a bit of Hewlett-Packard land and apricot orchards to turn into the superior spaceship-like constructing Jobs talks about within the video.

The sheer scale is jaw-dropping, as Quick Co. writes, “At 2.8 million sq. ft, the Apple Campus 2 will likely be an unfathomably huge ring. This Norman Foster design is nearly a mile in circumference, and it’ll require practically 4 miles of glass home windows. The new constructing will home about 12,000 Apple staff.
