Seattle Chamber of Commerce names former Tacoma Mayor Marilyn Strickland as CEO

Former Tacoma Mayor Marilyn Strickland is taking the helm as President and CEO of the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.

Strickland spent the final eight years as Tacoma’s chief government, the place she made a popularity for herself as a hard-charging chief credited with elevating the city’s reputation. Earlier than she was elected mayor, Strickland served on the Tacoma Metropolis Council and held managerial roles at Starbucks and the American Most cancers Society.
