The iPhone 13 Mini still gets slower MagSafe charging speeds

The iPhone 13 Mini is out Friday, and whereas it has a lot of welcome enhancements over the 12 Mini, it shares one limitation with its predecessor: the 13 Mini is still restricted to peak energy supply of up 12 watts over MagSafe wi-fi charging, based on an Apple support document (via MacRumors). Meaning it, just like the 12 Mini, has a decrease most MagSafe charging pace than the remainder of the iPhone 13 lineup, which might all cost at as much as 15 watts over MagSafe.

Whereas it is perhaps disappointing to listen to that the smallest iPhone can cost slower over MagSafe, it does have improved battery life. Apple says it’s best to rise up to 1.5 hours extra battery life than you’d with the iPhone 12 Mini, so it’s possible you’ll not have to cost the 13 Mini as usually.

That mentioned, the 13 Mini gives much less battery life than the remainder of the iPhone 13 fashions, and it could possibly still run out shortly. Right here’s Dieter Bohn’s early impressions, from his review:
