VR gaming store in mall south of Seattle hosting ‘Training Ops’ shooter tournament


Digital Reality Gaming is concentrating on avid gamers with a digital actuality shooter competitors that it’s hosting at its location at Commons Mall in Federal Method, Wash., south of Seattle, on Aug. 20.

The tournament will function competitors on the Omni VR treadmill, with gamers competing in “TRAVR: Coaching Ops,” a time-trial shooter sport developed by Virtuix Studios. Based on a YouTube description of the sport, gamers compete for the highest rating in 10 diverse ranges by finishing every degree’s taking pictures course as shortly and precisely as potential. 

The tournament will run from midday to 4:30 p.m., with last at 5 p.m. There’s a $5 buy-in, and rivals shall be awarded prizes.

Digital Actuality Gaming opened in the mall in June and is owned by Don Tilley, Michelle Tilley and Hanjin Kim. It’s billed as the one VR-game-playing store in a mall in Washington state. Clients can play a spread of VR video games suited to all ages.

The mall is positioned at 1928 S. Commons in Federal Method, a few 30-minute drive from Seattle.
