Whitepages beats SimplyMeasured in IT Sports League’s softball championship game

Probably the most dominant crew of geeks in the second season of IT Sports League softball proved to be Whitepages as they took the title final week from defending champs SimplyMeasured.

The Whitepages Wombats, captained by income accounting supervisor Erin Schindler, beat SimplyMeasured 15-8 at Seattle’s Queen Anne Area and completed the season with a 9-1 report. Whitepages reached the championship game by beating a crew from Quantum, 24-12.

SimplyMeasured, which took the title final summer season, completed with two losses this 12 months. They beat TINYPulse 21-8 to succeed in the ultimate game.

Quantum beat TINYPulse 11-8 to complete third this 12 months. TINYPulse was the one crew to beat Whitepages through the common season.

The league attracted 9 groups this season, up 5 from final 12 months’s inaugural effort. Newcomers included Quantum, Bizible, Actual Self, DomainTools and Avvo.

Organizer Steve Mayeda stated it was an amazing season and there have been loads of massive hits and spectacular performs on protection. Some groups confirmed enchancment because the season progressed, and rivalries are undoubtedly taking form.

“I feel subsequent 12 months we can be at 12 or 16 groups,” Mayeda stated. “All of us have quite a lot of enjoyable and get to satisfy others in our trade.”
